October News

Hello!

I hope your September was as much as a blast for you, as it was for me! We had great outdoor exercise weather. I predict October will still be good for outdoor exercise. (don't forget to wear extra layer, morning and evenings can get chilly).

Vertical Water Training

I've been getting people fit through Water Exercise for over 20 years! If you have access to a pool, this is one of the best workouts you can get. Build cardiovascular endurance without any strain on the joints. Vertical Water Exercise is great for people with knee, neck and back problems. Water Exercise is not limited to the injured! Recipe

I grew a lot of Kale this summer and have been using a friend's dehydrator to make Kale Chips. Here is a recipe I've been using: http://tinyurl.com/3mof5zw . If you don't have a dehydrator, set your oven at very low and keep the door slightly ajar.

Pilates Classes

Many people have been asking me where I teach group Pilates. Unfortunately, all my classes are taught in condos for the residents. With the exception of one at the Athletic Centre at the University of Toronto. This is a registered class (and currently full) but please check the website for further information on membership prices. I am available to come on-site to workplaces and private home to do group classes.
